NOC declares Force Majeure on El Sharara and El Feel fields
NOC confirms illegal closure of Sharara crude oil pipelines,

Closing the valves pumping crude from the El Sharara and El Feel fields, causing a loss of 330,000 barrels per day and a daily loss exceeding 160 million Libyan dinars.
Chairman of the Board of Directors commented, “We have been assured that a group of suspicious gangs have closed the crude pumping valves, and the implementation of our obligations towards refiners in the oil market has become impossible, and therefore we are obliged to announce (Force majeure) as is the practice in the oil industry.
Production status;
Es sider is working normally with production of 295,000 Bbls a day.
Ras Lanuf is working normally, with production of 95,000 Bbls of Amna, and 13,000 Bbls of Sirtica.
Marsa El Brega is working normally, with production of 85,000 Bbls of Brega crude oil.
Zueitina is working normally, with production of 102,000 Bbls of Buattifel, and 30,000 Bbls of Zueitina.
Marsa El Hariga is working normally, with production of 225,000 Bbls of Sarir/ Mesla blend.
El Sharara & Hamada production ex Zawia is Zero | force majeure declared.
Mellitah terminal is working normally with production of 25,000 Bbls of Wafa crude oil, and Elfeel production is Zero | force majeure declared.
